I began my web design career in 1999 when I created BryanBatt.com as a favor for a friend. I thought it would be a quick little exercise, maybe a few days work at most, and that would be it. I couldn't have been more wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed the work, and we kept adding new features to the site. Shortly after that, word of mouth spread, and I had new requests for sites. Now I host several sites, many of which you can view on my portfolio page. I have a number of satisfied clients, and am always looking to add more. My professional background includes a B.S. degree from St. John's University College of Business Administration. I worked in system development in the corporate world for 23 years, 12 of those years as the Vice President for System Development in the New York branch of an international bank. In addition, I have extensive theatre journalism credits to my name. I was a staff member of TalkinBroadway.com, specializing in celebrity interviews and promotional pieces. In 1999, I created Center Stage, a collection of 40 interviews with cast and crew members of The Scarlet Pimpernel on Broadway. |
